Emergency responders arrived quickly at the scene, where the passenger of the pickup truck, identified as Austin, was found unresponsive and later pronounced deceased.
Authorities confirmed that the driver of the vehicle was transported to Franciscan Health – Crown Point with non-life-threatening injuries.
