According to the Victoria Police Department, the collision occurred at approximately 4:35 p.m. in the 8000 block of the highway and involved a tractor-trailer along with two passenger vehicles. Investigators described the impact as severe, creating a chaotic scene as emergency responders rushed to assist multiple victims.
Officials confirmed the deceased as 25-year-old Zachary Banda, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities stated that Banda sustained fatal injuries in the crash, and despite immediate emergency response efforts, he could not be saved.
